Game:
Silent Passing |
|
|
Equipment:
blindfold, noisy objects i.e. babe’s rattle, keys, tin of marbles, the
crackly paper between layers in a biscuit tin etc Beavers
sit in a circle with one beaver blindfolded in the centre. Two
or three beavers are given potentially noisy objects to pass round the
circle. The beaver in the centre listens and points to any sound he/she
hears and if he/she points to a beaver holding one of the objects that
beaver then goes into the middle and is blindfolded instead. The aim of
the game is to pass to objects as quietly as possible.

Game:
Silent Follow my leader |
|
|
One Beaver is chosen to be the ‘Guesser’ and is asked to leaver the
room (with a leader), using sign language. A ringleader is then chosen and
all the Beavers have to copy his movements. When the ‘guesser’ comes
back into the room everyone has started copying the ringleader’s actions
and the ‘guesser’ has to find out who he/she is. Make sure the Beavers
don’t look directly at the ringleader or they will give the game away.
